More great fiction! What else need I say?
"Children of Dorsaeg"
by Nyki Blatchley
In a corner of Europe that history has forgotten, Charlemagne and his Franks are crushing the last "heretic" Arian kingdom. With the help of ancient magic, two young enemies realize that they have more in common than they believed. Perhaps there is hope for the future, after all. |

I'll say 'good story' as well, Nyki. Left me with a lot of questions as to who the shepherd was, what role will the king play in the future, and the fate of Offa and Pepin - but leaving the reader with something to ponder isn't a bad thing.
